The Animal Science Building on Ohio Hi-Point’s campus contains a classroom, an examination/surgical room, a small animal lab, a dog grooming lab, kennels, restrooms, storage, and an outdoor animal pen. The interior incorporates the school’s colors and design aesthetics. The addition and renovation were completed on an active campus, and coordination was done to ensure that construction minimized disruptions. Attention was paid to how the addition would impact the larger master plan of the campus. Work included extensive site work and demolition. Freytag & Associates, Inc. worked closely with the staff to create a functional design that provided all the necessary specialized equipment.
