Freytag & Associates, Inc. worked with the City of Sidney and Sidney Alive, a nonprofit aimed at enhancing the historic downtown district, to develop a master plan to further activate the Historic Downtown Sidney neighborhood. Arches were constructed across multiple streets, creating a sense of place for the historic downtown district. Alleys in between buildings were reimagined for pedestrian use. Using signage, improved lighting, plantings, and various seating options, these once forgotten spaces have become destinations for the community.
